The AF800 fire-resistant blanket fabricated from composite ceramic materials integrates both environmentally-friendly high-polymer organic ceramified silicone rubber composite tape and in-house developed ceramified inorganic materials. This distinctive organic-inorganic composite structure endows the product with a unique “asymmetrical” performance characteristic, achieving commendable thermal conductivity at ambient temperatures and superior thermal insulation at elevated temperatures.

Under ambient conditions, the inorganic ceramified component within the composite material possesses a relatively high thermal conductivity coefficient. This implies that when electrical cables operate normally at room temperature, the composite material can effectively dissipate heat, preventing excessive internal cable temperatures. Such temperature regulation is pivotal for prolonging the lifespan of the cables, as elevated temperatures can accelerate the aging of cable materials, subsequently compromising their performance and safety.

Under high-temperature scenarios, particularly during extreme events like fires, the ceramified silicone rubber composite tape exhibits its magnetic insulating properties. Concurrently, the in-house ceramified inorganic material engages in endothermic reactions, effectively insulating and cooling against external high temperatures. The synergistic effect of these two materials ensures that cables and their surrounding environment are adequately protected during emergencies such as fires, thereby mitigating potential risks associated with such incidents.
